Independence Day in Eagle Nest

If you can’t make it to Angel Fire this year for the 4th of July Festivities, we’d like to highlight the Eagle Nest 4th of July Celebration.
The event, presented by the Eagle Nest Chamber of Commerce, promises an unforgettable experience for all. Celebrate your independence with a celebration featuring one of the most spectacular fireworks display in New Mexico, illuminating the Moreno Valley skies above Eagle Nest Lake State Park!
Firemen’s BBQ & EMT 911 Sundaes
The 44th Annual Eagle Nest Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Benefit will feature BBQ beef, beans, coleslaw, rolls and the 911 Desserts by the area’s best bakers. The 911 Sundaes proceeds benefit the Eagle Nest EMT/Ambulance Service.
When: 11 AM – 4 PM (or until food runs out!)

4th of July Parade
Don your most patriotic attire in shades of Red, White, and Blue, and gather with us to applaud the imaginative floats as they gracefully glide along the bustling Main Street of Eagle Nest. Join the excitement as each float brings its own unique charm to the parade, showcasing the creativity and spirit of our vibrant community.
When: 2 – 2:30 PM

Activities in the Park
In the intervals between scheduled events, take the opportunity to unwind and enjoy quality time with your loved ones amidst the serene atmosphere of Village Park.

Fireworks over the Lake
Make sure you stay to enjoy the 46th year for Fireworks over Eagle Nest Lake that can be viewed throughout the area.
When: Around 9 PM (at dark)
Where: Eagle Nest State Park, or anywhere in the surrounding area.
